Privacy Policy

What I collect through this website, why, who sees it, and how long I keep it. Short, because this site does very little.

Who I am

This website is operated by Jasmine Clark, an independent notary and LegalShield associate located in St. Louis, MO 63108. In this policy, "I" and "my" refer to Jasmine Clark.

I am an Independent Associate of LegalShield. I am not an attorney and do not provide legal services or advice.

What I collect

Information you give me. If you submit the form, I collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, and whatever details you share about your company — typically employee count and what benefits you currently offer. If you call or email instead, I collect whatever that conversation contains.

Information collected automatically. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. If we schedule a call, I may use a third-party scheduling tool to book it, which collects the scheduling and contact details you provide to it under its own privacy policy.

I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and this site isn't directed to children.

How I use it

To respond to you, prepare a quote for your group, and keep ordinary business records. That's the entire list.

I don't build advertising profiles and I don't sell personal information. Submitting the form doesn't add you to a marketing list. If I ever send marketing email it will be because you asked, and every message will include a way to stop.

Who I share it with

My colleague. Consultative calls and quoting are handled together with a colleague who works with me on group business. Your inquiry details are shared with them for that purpose only.

LegalShield / PPLSI. If you move forward, the information needed to set up and service your group is provided to LegalShield, which holds it under its own privacy policy.

Service providers. My email, scheduling, and document tools process data on my behalf, each under their own policies.

Legal requirements. I'll disclose information where compelled by subpoena, court order, or lawful request from an authority with jurisdiction.

What I don't do. I don't sell personal information or share it with data brokers or advertising networks.

LegalShield enrollments and employee information

If your company offers LegalShield or IDShield to employees, membership records are held by PPLSI, not by me, and are governed by their privacy policy and your plan documents.

I do not receive details of the legal matters your employees bring to a provider law firm. Those communications are between the employee and their attorney. Any reporting I provide to an employer is limited to enrollment and participation counts — never who used the plan or what for.

I am compensated by LegalShield on memberships sold. That compensation doesn't change what you or your employees pay.

How long I keep it

  • Inquiries that didn't convert 2 years from last contact
  • Client business records 7 years
  • Financial and tax records As required by law

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, opt out of any sale or sharing of it (I do neither), and not be treated differently for asking.

Email partnerships@jasmineclarknotary.com and I'll verify your identity before acting, then respond within the time your state requires. For membership records held by LegalShield, you'll need to contact them directly — I can point you to the right place.

Security

I use reputable third-party services with encryption in transit and at rest, limit access to what's needed, and use multi-factor authentication on accounts holding sensitive information. No system is perfectly secure and I won't claim otherwise. If a breach affects your information, I'll notify you as applicable law requires.

Changes and contact

If I change this policy materially I'll update the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy.

Questions or requests: partnerships@jasmineclarknotary.com or (314) 743-9560.

Note for review: this is a starting template written for your setup. Privacy law varies by state and changes often. Have it reviewed before you publish if you'll serve employees in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or other states with comprehensive privacy statutes.
